DESCRIPTION:The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will hold an i
 ndustry event to discuss the Michigan Innovative Financing Asset Scan for 
 Transportation (MI-FAST) Study. MI-FAST is an ongoing exploratory study le
 d by MDOT’s Office of Major Projects to analyze lifecycle costs for need
 ed Michigan transportation projects and estimate the benefits of new reven
 ue to accelerate those projects. The study focuses on 12 currently unfunde
 d major corridors\, interchanges\, and bundled projects across MDOT’s se
 ven regions that were identified through a study-specific screening proces
 s.\n\nThe event will provide an overview of the projects and dedicated tim
 e for questions and feedback from industry participants. MDOT is seeking i
 ndustry perspectives on which projects offer the strongest potential for f
 uture advancement\, lessons from comparable major projects that should inf
 orm development\, cost and schedule risks\, and opportunities for innovati
 on in financing\, delivery\, phasing\, and partnerships. Interested partic
 ipants may also request one-on-one meetings after the event to further dis
