DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that\, due to overwhelming interest\
 , we are now offering a second class for our Traffic Control Technician Tr
 aining!\n\nThe TCT course introduces temporary traffic control in work zon
 es for those involved in installing and removing traffic control devices. 
 It covers key concepts\, techniques\, and practical exercises related to t
 he installation and maintenance of these devices. No prior experience in t
 emporary traffic control is necessary. Students must complete a written ex
 am\, with a passing grade set at 80% or higher. Those who achieve this sco
 re will receive a certificate of attendance.\n\nTo be certified\, the stud
 ent must meet the following requirements:\n\n 	 Score 80% or greater on t
 he Traffic Control Technician (TCT) final exam\n 	Complete 2\,000 hours (1
  year) of work zone experience\n 	
Complete the Certification Applicatio
 n\n 	Provide two (2) professional references to verify work zone experienc
 e\n 	Be approved by the ATSSA Certification\n\n**Board
Certification is 
 valid for 4 years from the date of the exam.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease note tha
 t due to anticipated high demand\, MITA is limiting registration to 6 part
 icipants per company to ensure fair access to the class. However\, if the 
 class does not sell out\, additional spots will be offered to companies al
 ready registered.\n\n**Cancellation Policy:**\nCancellations must be recei
 ved one week before the event to be eligible for a full refund. Refunds ar
 e at MITA’s discretion for cancellations made less than one week prior. 
 **NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED.**
