 TCT course introduces temporary traffic control in work zones for those in
 volved in installing and removing traffic control devices. It covers key c
 oncepts\, techniques\, and practical exercises related to the installation
  and maintenance of these devices. No prior experience in temporary traffi
 c control is necessary. Students must complete a written exam\, with a pas
 sing grade set at 80% or higher. Those who achieve this score will receive
  a certificate of attendance.\n\nTo be certified\, the student must meet t
 he following requirements:\n\n 	 Score 80% or greater on the Traffic Cont
 rol Technician (TCT) final exam\n 	Complete 2\,000 hours (1 year) of work 
 zone experience\n 	
Complete the Certification Application\n 	Provide tw
 o (2) professional references to verify work zone experience\n 	Be approve
 d by the ATSSA Certification\n\n**Board
Certification is valid for 4 yea
 rs from the date of the exam.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease note that due to antici
 pated high demand\, MITA is limiting registration to 4 participants per co
 mpany to ensure fair access to the class. However\, if the class does not 
 sell out\, additional spots will be offered to companies already registere
