The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) intends on piloting a new method of fixed price/variable scope contracting on a capital preventative maintenance project on I-94.  The project is expected to be let in June 2013 with construction beginning after July 4, 2013 and being completed in the 2013 construction season.
