TO: MITA OE 324 Power of Attorney Contractors (POA Contractors)

RE: Officially Rescinding Power of Attorney from MITA
DATE: August 9, 2018
In response to MITA’s official rescission of Power of Attorney (POA) for all Road and Utility Distribution contractors yesterday, Operating Engineers, Local 324 (OE 324) and Fringe Fund legal counsel are now insisting that every one of those companies formally rescind their POA in writing to MITA.
In an effort to collect these official letters of rescission as quickly and efficiently as possible, please use the following paragraph to submit a letter to MITA electronically on company letterhead:
Effective immediately, (COMPANY NAME) rescinds our Power of Attorney for MITA to represent (COMPANY NAME) in negotiations with Operating Engineers, Local 324 (OE 324) today: August 9th, 2018. To be clear, MITA will not represent us in contract negotiations with OE 324 only. If you have any questions, please call me.
This letter should then be signed by a company principal before being submitted to Mariam Robinson, Director of Strategic Affairs, at mariamrobinson@thinkmita.org.
