MITA, along with Michigan Construction, MDOT, the Michigan Aggregate Association, the County Road Association, the Asphalt Pavement Association of Michigan, Michigan Concrete Association, Michigan Works!, and AIS, is hosting multiple hiring events during the months of March & April. These events are for infrastructure employers who are looking to hire for the 2020 construction season.
All companies who work in the infrastructure & heavy/highway construction industry are welcome! (This includes, roads, bridges, underground, road maintenance, engineering & testing, materials suppliers, service providers, etc.)
Infrastructure construction companies across Michigan are strongly encouraged to participate, as we are expecting to bring in hundreds of job seekers to these events through an extensive marketing campaign.
SPACE IS LIMITED at these events, and it is available on a first come first served basis.
Please fill out the online form here and select the events that your company would like to attend. The cost of a table is $750* per event. An invoice will be sent from MITA using the information provided in your online form.
Employers will be provided with one 8-foot table. There will be minimal space for an extensive display, and there will be no electricity. We recommend that you bring applications that potential employees can fill out on the spot. Candidates are being encouraged to bring resumes to the event, and they will be 18 years and older.
100% of the table fees will go towards the paid marketing for the events.
NOTE: *If your company is a partner of MI Construction, you will qualify for a discounted fee of $500 per event.
