This is a message from the Community Benefits team at Bridging North America (BNA), the partner responsible for designing, building, financing, operating, and maintaining the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. Bridging North America and the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority invite you to join our staff for a virtual information session on Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30 p.m.
Last November, we hosted hundreds of attendees at Caesars Windsor on the Canadian side and at Detroit’s Cobo Center on the American side. Work on the construction of our new international crossing has continued throughout 2020. This month, though we cannot be together in person, we want to ensure our vendor and subcontractor communities remain closely engaged with our team and stay informed on the progress and opportunities of the construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 28, we will host a virtual Meet the Contractor summit to inform and engage with potential local subcontractors. Representatives from BNA will include speakers from the Procurement and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) departments. Additionally, representatives from our major Tier 1 subcontractors (Blaze, Iafrate, Walbridge) will participate in breakout sessions to share details on bid opportunities for the construction of the Gordie Howe Bridge.
Please find below the information on date, time, and how to virtually join our informational summit.
