The next safety directors group meeting will be held at the MITA office on September 28th at 1 P.M. There will be a zoom option available. Some members will be speaking about newly implemented safety measures and procedures that are currently being field tested. MITA staff will be bringing you a MIOSHA update, a Workzone Safety Task Force update and other miscellaneous issues. Please let us know if you would like to have anything else added as a topic of discussion. We can certainly roundtable on any other issues that come to our attention during the meeting.
Additionally, MITA is working with the Work Zone Safety Task Force on a social media project and is in need of pictures involving intrusions into work zones.
