With less than a month to go, MITA members must hurry if your contributions are going to have an influence on this year’s elections.
The MITA PAC has identified a number of candidates and legislative leaders across the state who will support our industry while in office. We have an aggressive legislative agenda for next term that could translate into hundreds of millions of dollars in additional investments for our industry.
This year, our PAC contributions have been significantly off pace from the preceding year, raising approximately $185,000 in 2005 and only $135,000 so far this year. While we still have unmet financial needs we would like to fulfill before the next election, we also recognize and appreciate all those who have already generously supported the MITA PAC.
