Did You Know? Fixing Roads is Top Issue for Michigan Voters

The message MITA has been delivering to the public through our FixMIState campaign appears to have been successful, given the results of a recently released EPIC-MRA Poll. Here’s a one page summary of the poll.

The results of the poll show that Michigan voters rate infrastructure as the top problem and issue in Michigan. An incredible 93 percent of Michigan residents gave our roads a negative rating. In addition, two-thirds of Michigan voters who were polled said that fixing all types of infrastructure – roads, bridges, dams and underground infrastructure – are equally important.

Please make sure to stay in touch with the FixMIState campaign by following it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in order to be up to date on issues as they happen. If you have questions, please contact Rob Coppersmith, MITA’s Executive Vice President, at robcoppersmith@thinkmita.org.
