Overview
The MITA Future Leaders Development Program will provide accepted participants a broad-based educational and personal experience that will prepare them for future leadership roles within their own companies and the construction industry. The program curriculum has been specifically designed to educate the participants on a wide variety of topics that will help them grow their knowledge base and develop the skill sets needed to be effective company leaders and industry advocates.
Eligibility
The MITA Future Leaders Development Program is open to all individuals working in the heavy construction industry.Ideal program candidates are those individuals who have demonstrated leadership skills and are being groomed for advancement to upper management. A letter of recommendation from company leadership and a candidate resume will be required of all applicants. The number of program participants will be limited. The participant selection process will be conducted by MITA staff, and subject to review by the MITA Board of Directors.
Requirements
Accepted applicants for the MITA Future Leaders Development Program are required to attend all program sessions and one Board of Directors Meeting.
Investment
The cost per accepted participant is $1,500, which includes 7 sessions with lunch, attendance at all 3 MITA holiday parties, and registration for the 2026 Annual Conference. Accepted candidates will be invoiced for the program.
