MITA’s new digital directory app is launching soon, and we want to make sure your company is represented accurately. Up-to-date information attracts more business, simplifies communication, and boosts your visibility. The information in your listing includes not only address and phone number but also email addresses, mobile phone numbers, Buyers Guide categories, MDOT Pre Qualifications, and important company contacts.
Since the information we have may be older than a few years, it’s crucial to update it now! This year, the process is simpler than ever.
Here’s what you need to do:
Review your company listing: Call the MITA office (517-347-8336) and talk to Lindsay, Sara, or Danielle to make sure addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, MDOT Pre Qualifications, Buyer’s Guide categories, and employees listed in our database are all up-to-date. Remove obsolete fax or 800 numbers and ensure all MITA-connected employees receive our e-communications.
To simplify the process and to make it as accurate as possible, please nominate one representative from your company to handle these updates, especially if your company has multiple locations.
Mobile Directory App Advertising Opportunities
MITA’s new digital directory (both the web and mobile versions) will have a few ways for members to advertise their business to users. Since the app will be available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for all to download (don’t worry, detailed contact information will only be available to members), it has great potential to reach thousands of industry contacts.
