The MITA Executive Committee recently met with Governor Snyder to discuss his upcoming special message on infrastructure. In the past his messages have been bold and called for specific action by the legislature. MITA expects that this special message will continue in the same fashion.
The Governor specifically called on the MITA membership to aggressively get out there and talk about the needs of our infrastructure immediately with our state representatives and state senators. The Governor hopes the industry will back his message with members of the legislature both now and after the message is made in late October.
