The link to email your state senator and state representative regarding the condition of Michigan’s roads and bridges has been updated to reflect the new 2015-2016 Legislature. This means that the email addresses for all the state representatives and state senators are now accurate and reflect their proper district numbers. Please be aware that certain lawmakers in the Senate retained their seats, but now have a new district number because the redistricting took effect at the beginning of 2015. Make sure you know who your actual state representative and state senator are, and please take a minute to shoot them a quick note regarding the road funding situation. Remind them that their job is to find a permanent, long-term solution as quickly as possible. Don’t forget that the MITA Legislative page has a wide variety of resources for you to use.
