Richard Doyle, age 86, of Jenison, entered peacefully into his eternal home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Dick started with AIS in July of 1968 and had just completed his 53rd year. Dick served his customers and did all things with excellence and a smile. Dick loved planes, cranes & heavy equipment and proudly served his church and his community.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, of 67 years, Lorraine Doyle; children, Debra and Edmund Lehmann, Sherri and Hank Katerberg, Brenda and Richard Kreuger, Linda and Ross Johnson; many grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Carl and Joan Doyle, Janet and Roger Whitenbach, Judy and Jon Walters; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 11a.m. at Calvary Church with Pastor Dane Bjork officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and Monday from 10-11a.m. prior to the service at the church.
