It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Aurand, an estimator for MITA member Site Development, on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was 52 years old.
Todd was born on August 17, 1966 in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Byron High School in 1984 and spent his entire career as an estimator in the construction industry. He truly loved his job and giving back to the community through his membership at the Gaines Community Men’s Club.
Todd was also a huge University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and going to sporting events with friends. Todd was a jokester, and he was well known in his circle for his infamous “bird call”.
Todd is survived by his daughters, Alexandria and Olivia; his mother, Sandra; his sister, Angela (Bryan) Wertz; his niece, Megan Wertz; his nephew, Carson Wertz; his grandmother, June Robinson; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas.
