As we enter the fall season, efforts to increase the financial stability of the MITA PAC are in full swing. This October, MITA will be hosting a Road Rally for Infrastructure. The event promises to be a good time for everyone who chooses to participate, and the goal is to raise a significant amount of funds for the purpose of strengthening the MITA PAC. We absolutely must continue to grow financially if we hope to successfully secure road funding for the benefit of Michigan’s infrastructure.
In addition, as 2013 rapidly draws to an end, we have to ensure that we are completely prepared for 2014, an election year that will cover the Michigan House of Representatives, the Michigan Senate and the Governor’s office, to name a few. If we hope to have a chance to influence these races for the benefit of the industry, we must have a strong MITA PAC to stand up on.
