The Macomb County Department of Roads (MCDR) is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) from companies interested in providing Design-Build services for the Mound Road Industrial Corridor Technology and Innovation Project (reconstruction of nine miles of Mound Rd between I-696 and M-59). Entities interested in responding to this request (“Respondents”) are invited, on a non-binding basis to express their interest in the Project and provide opinions and feedback. While submission of an LOI is not a prerequisite for participating in the procurement process, interested firms and parties are strongly encouraged to submit.
MCDR plans to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in August of 2020 and a Request for Proposals (RFP) in January of 2021. The project award is expected in late April of 2021.
