The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting an industry forum to discuss the upcoming Progressive Design-Build (PDB) procurement and subsequent delivery of the I-375 Reconnecting Communities Project, whereby MDOT plans to convert the depressed I-375 freeway in Detroit to a street-level boulevard. This forum will provide an opportunity for potential proposers to learn about the project scope, procurement process, and schedule.
The intended audience is prime contractors, key subcontractors and suppliers, and designers.
MDOT anticipates the issuance of a Request for Proposals in late March 2024 and the award of a PDB contract in June 2024.
