MDOT Names Administrator of Office of Business Development
MDOT’s Chief Operations Officer, Greg Johnson, recently announced the selection of Lisa Thompson as the Office of Business Development (OBD) Administrator.
Lisa brings 26 years of MDOT experience, most recently as OBD’s Acting Administrator, as well as their Reports and Analysis Section Manager. Lisa’s experience includes work with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, Equal Opportunity Contract Compliance, Small Business Program, On-The-Job Training, and she managed the creation of the Title VI interdisciplinary team process. In addition, Lisa is a Certified Contract Compliance Administrator through the American Contract Compliance Association, and she has participated in various National Civil Rights Training opportunities held by FHWA, AASHTO and other certification agencies. Lisa is a graduate of Michigan State University, and will soon receive her Masters of Business Administration from Davenport University.
