MDOT has announced that they will be implementing a new “fully electronic” contract award process for all construction contracts for projects let in the June 4, 2021, bid letting and all subsequent bid lettings.
MDOT’s Contractor Announcement that explains and details the specific steps the prime contractor must follow in this new electronic contract award process has been posted to MDOT’s Bid Letting website, it has been posted to the Bid Express website, and it will be sent to all GovDelivery Bid Letting subscribers.
