Public Sector Consultants releases new report examining Michigan’s road funding crisis

 Leaders gather to raise awareness on the issues facing Michigan’s transportation funding

 

WHAT: Public Sector Consultants is releasing a new report, examining the road funding crisis that Michigan currently faces. They have spent the past year compiling data that looks at the current shortfall Michigan faces as well as several policy solutions to help bridge the funding gap. This report highlights Michigan’s need for an equitable, long-term, sustainable funding plan that will finally dedicate the resources to improve our roads and bridges.

Construction trade, business, and municipal leaders are coming together on Tuesday for the release of the report and to raise awareness on the issues facing Michigan’s transportation funding. Organizations involved are working towards finding a solution to ensure our roads are in good condition for generations to come.
