MITA and MDOT will be hosting a Work Zones Forum to discuss a variety of work zone items including:
• new devices being piloted/tested or in the queue for testing,
• experiences throughout the year within work zones,
• ideas for improvements or new things to try,
• any effective devices/Special Provisions being underutilized on projects or removed from projects.
This forum is the first of what is planned to be a biannual event on behalf of the Work Zone Task Force Action Team #7 (Proper and Efficient Use of New Technology)
in an effort to create continuous opportunities to make work zones safer and more efficient for both workers and vehicles passing through.
The MITA & MDOT Work Zone Forum will be held on November 6th, 2019 at the MITA office from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Seating is limited, so please contact Danielle Coppersmith to register.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Glenn Bukoski or Rachelle VanDeventer at the MITA office at 517-347-8336, or by email at glennbukoski@thinkmita.org or rachellevandeventer@thinkmita.org.
