On January 24-25, 2018, MITA will be hosting its 13th Annual Conference at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, where MITA would like to extend an invitation to become involved in the newly formed MITA Workforce Development Committee. The initial meeting of this committee will take place on Thursday, January 25, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Anishnabeg Room. There will be a brainstorming session that will ask you, the members, to discuss your workforce development needs. This session will help MITA establish how the Director of Workforce Development will proceed in 2018, as well as the areas that are the most important to address. Your voice needs to be a part of the discussion, so please consider having your company sit on the MITA Workforce Development Committee.
