Last year MITA announced the launch of the enhanced interactive DBE Solicitation website that quickly became the main location for soliciting DBE contractors. This website was designed to facilitate the effectiveness of prime contractor’s DBE solicitation advertisements while meeting current state and federal requirements.
For those not fully aware of the many great features developed to help you improve your DBE solicitations, let us provide a brief summary.
- The user posts the DBE Solicitation advertisement.
- Work types for the desired subcontracted work can be easily selected from a drop down menu.
- DBE contractors matching the selected work types will receive an email regarding the posting.
- A list of the DBE contractors who received the posting will be provided to the prime contractor.
- All solicitations will be time stamped when submitted and posted to the website.
- All solicitations will be accessible via an archive function for those that need to be retrieved after the letting date.

As a MITA member, you can elect to sign up for one year of unlimited advertisement postings for $600/year or you elect to pay $50 for each individual advertisement.
MITA Ads
Since inception in 2009, there have been over 1,100 posted project advertisements.
MITA’s Project Advertisement website has proven to be the statewide “go-to” location for the advertisement of water, sewer, road, and other infrastructure improvement projects.
