An Agreement was reached on May 13th for the statewide road contract. The details are as follows:
1. 5 year agreement
2. Monetary adjustments
Effective June 1, 2008 – $1.20/hr
Effective June 1, 2009 – $1.20/hr
Effective June 1, 2010 – $1.20/hr
Effective June 1, 2011 – $1.20/hr
Effective June 1, 2012 – $1.20/hr
The above increases represent an increase of 2.62% in Class I.
3. Fringe distribution effective June 1, 2008
– .60¢ to Pension
– .25¢ to Apprenticeship
– .15¢ to Health Care
4. Minor language changes.
MITA will notify you when the new contract and updated wage rates on the website.
