RE: Collective Bargaining Agreement Negotiations
The current Underground Construction Agreement between MITA and the Operating Engineers – Local 324 expires at the end of August, 2010. Therefore, I have notified the union of our intent to open negotiations prior to September 1. With this in mind, I am looking for input from you.
If MITA holds your company’s Power of Attorney for this contract and you or a representative from your company would like to participate on the negotiations committee, please let me know either by email to mikenystrom@mi-ita.com or call me at 517-347-8336.
Secondly, if you have suggested changes to the contract language, please forward those to my attention, and we will make every effort to implement these suggestions during the negotiations process.
