Before you head to the MITA Annual Conference in Mt. Pleasant later this week, get engaged with our public relations campaign, Fix MI State, to help raise awareness of the massive unmet infrastructure needs across Michigan.
Launched in December 2016, Fix MI State has received state and national recognition for some of its content and has reached thousands of Michigan residents, prompting them to engage with their elected officials on infrastructure issues in Michigan. We STRONGLY encourage our members to share the various social media links on their webpages and with their employees to spread the word.
As lawmakers debate on solutions to fix Michigan’s infrastructure, it will take a strong effort from the public before increased investment is passed on the local, state and federal levels. Below are the various ways in which you, your family, friends and employees can get involved.
