If a member is serving from your local community on one of these key committees, MITA would urge you to send a note of congratulations on their mew assignment.  If you have a Facebook account, we recommend you adding your legislator to your friends list, regardless of whether they serve on one of these committees.  Almost every legislator has a Facebook profile and many of them check their emails personally.  It is a great way to keep tabs on your legislator and begin to establish a personal relationship with them.
