Traffic Control Technician Training

The TCT course introduces temporary traffic control in work zones for those involved in installing and removing traffic control devices. It covers key concepts, techniques, and practical exercises related to the installation and maintenance of these devices. No prior experience in temporary traffic control is necessary. Students must complete a written exam, with a passing grade set at 80% or higher. Those who achieve this score will receive a certificate of attendance.

To be certified, the student must meet the following requirements:

-Score 80% or greater on the Traffic Control Technician (TCT) final exam
-Complete  2,000 hours (1 year) of work zone experience
-Complete the Certification Application
-Provide two (2) professional references to verify work zone experience
-Be approved by the ATSSA Certification

**Board
 Certification is valid for 4 years from the date of the exam.
