In accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association Underground Agreement and The International Union of Operating Engineers’ Local 324, 324-A, and 324-B, AFL-CIO, please be advised that effective the first full payroll period on or after September 1, 2009, the wage allocation is as follows:
$1.20 per hour increase for all Classifications
Allocations – $.90 per hour to Pension Fund
$.15 per hour to Apprenticeship Fund
$.05 per hour to Labor Management Education Committee
Remainder of increase to be applied to base wage and
Vacation and Holiday Fund.
The 2009 Underground Operating Engineers Wage Rates effective the first full pay period on or after September 1, 2009 can be found under Wage Rates on the MITA website.
