Many folks have been wondering what the plan is for the 2021 MITA Annual Conference. In light of the times, it has been decided that the best option is to cancel our in-person event and instead bring you a virtual experience.
The “virtual” conference will still be held January 20-21, 2021 and will kick off with the MITA Board Meeting, which all MITA members are invited to attend, followed by five webinars over the next day and a half. Many sessions will be eligible for Continuing Education (CE) credits and are as follows: MDOT Leadership, Work Zone Safety & MIOSHA, Workforce Development – MDOT On the Job Training and more. Registration, sponsorship and cost details will be released at a later date.
Additional MITA Winter Webinars will be offered throughout the industry “off-season” months, from February 1 – March 30. Stay-tuned to your MITA e-bulletins for details.
