The Fix MI State campaign has been ongoing since 2016. This year we’ve taken an active approach to its messaging. During the spring we focused on Fix MI State safely with a corresponding billboard campaign that will live on throughout the summer and into the fall thanks to financial support from the Operating Engineers, Michigan Laborer, and the Michigan Union Contractors Group. MITA also directed the messaging to potential employees in the early spring with this appeal: “We need you to Fix MI State”.
As we approach the impending election cycle, the messaging will change yet again and is based on information obtained from a MITA-sponsored EPIC MRA poll. This information can be used as talking points with your family, friends, neighbors and even your elected officials.
