MITA needs your help to spread the word about MITA Scholarship opportunities. The MITA Scholarship Fund offers financial support to individuals hoping to pursue a career in the heavy/highway construction industry. This scholarship is not only available for students that may be looking to get a 4-year degree in engineering, etc., but also for those who are looking to attend a trade school – anything heavy highway/construction related. MITA is asking for your help to spread the word about this opportunity in an effort to gain worthy applicants.
The scholarship fund has been accepting applications for approximately the last 6 weeks; and, to date, only 3 applicants have applied. The application period has been extended to April 14 in an effort to secure more prospective awardees.
