Today, the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) announced a significant milestone in the procurement process to select the private-sector partner required for the Gordie Howe International Bridge – the issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to the three short-listed proponents.
A copy of the news release and other background documents and information related to the international bridge project are available on the WDBA website at www.wdbridge.com.
As a part of the RFP process the WDBA will host business-to-business meetings in Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. These meetings will provide opportunities for the region’s business community and the proponents to network and engage in introductory discussions on sourcing and vendor needs.
