MITA was recently notified of a business scam involving the collection of $125 fee from a non-governmental entity called “Michigan Corporate Compliance Company”.
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) recently issued a bulletin about this scam and informed companies that although these phony letters can look authentic, they are a scam.
