The business community is coming together in an effort to help during this time of need in our country by donating their Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to hospitals and other health care facilities. We encourage MITA members to follow suit and help provide necessary items like face masks and respirators if you have some available to donate. The uncertainty of the spread of the coronavirus means that we could be in short supply of these items for those individuals who truly need them.
In order to ensure the supplies are distributed efficiently and to the areas of greatest need, it is being requested that you ship or drop the supplies off to the regional emergency management coalition site that is closest to you, which can be found at ttp://bit.ly/RegCoordinators.
