Gordie Howe International Bridge Industry Days
August 5, 2015 and August 6, 2015 and July 21, 2015
The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) recently released the RFQ for the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
Part of the RFQ announcement involves Industry Project meetings, along with Industry Days. Each event will take place on both the United States side and the Canadian side.
The Industry Project Meetings and Industry Days are scheduled as follows:
Introductory Project Meetings
At the meeting, the WDBA will share the scope of the requirements outlined in the RFQ.

Industry Days for Contractors, Suppliers and Service Providers
Industry Days will provide an opportunity for potential respondents to meet and network with local, regional and national contractors, suppliers and service providers. The Industry Days also provide the opportunity for local businesses to showcase themselves to potential private sector proponents on the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.

Timeline
It is anticipated that the procurement process will run up to 18 months.
The Request for Qualifications was issued on July 20, 2015.
It is expected that the RFP will be issued in late 2015.
