MDOT recently posted a Contractor Announcement notifying bidders that form FHWA-1273, “Required Contract Provisions Federal-Aid Construction Contracts” has been updated and published in the Federal Register. The revised FHWA-1273 will be added to all Federal-aid projects beginning with the September 2, 2022, bid letting.
MITA contractor members are reminded that this updated form FHWA-1273, dated July 5, 2022, is the form they must attach to all subcontracts effective with the September 2, 2022 bid letting. MDOT has updated the “Subcontract” form (1302-FED) to include this updated form FHWA-1273, dated July 5, 2022.
