MDOT Has Upcoming Construction Opportunities at Belle Isle for Small Business Program (SBP) Firms

Upcoming contracts involving asphalt and concrete type work (other work types are required, e.g. trucking, supplier, etc.) will be contracted for Belle Isle soon!  Information about this upcoming bid will be shared at this meeting.  Missing this meeting could mean a missed opportunity for you to bid as a prime on these contracting opportunities.

We are seeking firms that are interested in bidding as a SBP prime that meets the following criteria:

·        MDOT Small Business Program (SBP) requirements and/or
·        Certified as a Michigan Unified Certification Program (MUCP) firm as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), should attend this meeting.

(Note: all DBE firms are considered SBP firms)

You will have to be or become (discussed at meeting):
o   MDOT Prequalified (must be submitted electronically) “and”
o   Maintenance Prequalified
o   You must be a registered State Vendor on the Buy4Michigan Website (https://buy4michigan.com/bso/)

Come learn where on Belle Isle the work will be done and other potential contracts for the Metro area.
Resource individuals are invited to assist you with prequalification, bonds or additional bonding, registering as a vendor and how to become an SBP firm with MDOT (MDOT certification is not a requirement for SBP firms).
