MDOT uses the roadway and bridge production rates as helpful guidance to both design and construction engineers when developing and administering projects (evaluating schedules, progress clauses, force accounts, extra work, etc.).
The latest rates are from 2023, and MITA is hearing from members that some of the production rates used by the department are in need of updates. We are looking for additional feedback from membership on the production rates so we can include it in our update request.
