MDOT is currently in the process of developing construction manual guidance and standard specifications language for utilization of automated grade control and stringless paving.
As part of their process they are performing an assessment of current practices and identification of focus areas. In an effort to gather industry input, MDOT has created a web-based survey that can be accessed by clicking here.
MDOT has asked MITA to distribute this survey to our members in an effort to gain valuable stakeholder input.
If you utilize automated grade control or stringless paving technology in the work your company performs please take the time (about 5 minutes) to help set the future direction of this technology by completing this survey no later than May 29, 2015.
