MITA’s aggressive efforts to get the Legislature to pass a road funding solution before the end of this year are continuing this week, and we need YOUR HELP.
The House and Session are in session, and road funding is still at the top of the list. You can be of tremendous help simply by clicking here to contact your legislators and remind them of their duty to invest in our state’s infrastructure.
You can also help by doing the following:
1. Sign the petition. Signatures on this petition prove to the Legislature that citizens of Michigan are on board with finding a solution to the road-funding problem. Once you sign the petition, you will have the option to be directly connected by phone with your legislators.
2. Share the video. This video includes interviews with MDOT and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and highlights the consequences of underinvestment in our infrastructure. Share if on your social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter.
