The MITA Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year! Completed applications will be accepted by MITA until March 31, 2022.
Applications MUST be complete in order to be considered by the Board of Directors. Incomplete applications will not be given consideration.
Applications must include the following items:
• Official college or high school transcripts.
• Resume outlining work experience and/or extra-curricular activities.
• 500 word 12 pt. font essay outlining why you want to pursue a career in the heavy/highway construction industry. (Must demonstrate an understanding of the industry and MITA.)
• Up to 3 letters of recommendation not to exceed 1 page in length each.
• Headshot.
The Board will consider all completed applications at their April 2022 meeting. Final decisions will be made post-meeting, and all applicants will be notified by the end of June 2022.
