Statewide Industry PPE Needs Survey and Updated Work Space Guidance

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC), along with MITA, is attempting to gauge the needs of the heavy construction industry regarding COVID-19 tests, no-touch thermometers, and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will be needed to keep the industry moving forward as safely as possible. In filling out the attached survey, please break out different job categories as much as possible, and please include a short justification for each. Your participation will help gauge the need for the various types of supplies and PPE required for the future. Please fill out the attached form and forward it to gregbrooks@thinkmita.org.

MDOT has now indicated that they will be leaning on this guidance when asked by contractors about the six-foot work issue.
