Thursday is #MichiganInfrastructureDay!

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to fixing infrastructure in Michigan. The Fix MI State campaign has been busy sharing infrastructure facts and raising awareness about Michigan’s massive unmet infrastructure needs.

This Thursday is Michigan Infrastructure Day. November 1st is the 61st anniversary of the opening of the Mackinac Bridge, which is not only a symbol of Michigan, but is also a celebration of Michigan’s infrastructure achievements.

However, we still experience Michigan’s aging and crumbling infrastructure every day, from roads filled with potholes to sewage overflowing into our precious water.

We invite you to tune in this #MichiganInfrastructureDay and help Fix MI State engage with Michiganders and candidates who support fixing infrastructure!

Here’s how:

Join our Twitter Chat on November 1 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., where Michiganders and election candidates will discuss why infrastructure is important to them.

Retweet this tweet to let your audiences know about the Twitter Chat, even if you can’t join in! Tweet your support to #FixMIState on #MichiganInfrastructureDay!

Fixing our infrastructure is going to take many years and substantial effort. Help us keep the momentum going. Thank you for your support.

It’s time to #FixMIState!
