2024 MITA Future Leaders Development Program – Now Accepting Applications

Now in its 14th year, MITA’s Future Leader Development Program is a great way to introduce your young or new talent to the industry and to what MITA has to offer. But don’t take our word for it; here’s what some of the 2023 class participants had to say.

“The Future Leaders program is a slingshot for developing leaders in the industry. It launches you into the core of the association and places you on an upward path alongside similar-minded peers throughout the industry. I’m grateful for the opportunity to listen and learn from others, and it’s opened up my perspective greatly to other viewpoints. It’s armed me with tools that will only help towards the success of my company, my personal growth, and the industry as a whole.”

-Megan Chartier
M. L. Chartier Excavating, Inc.

“The MITA Future Leaders program is a fantastic way to meet up-and-coming leaders in the industry. It also provides a snapshot of all the inner workings of our great industry. I would recommend the program to anyone who is serious about advancing their career.”

Ryan P. Meisner
M&M Excavating Co., Inc.

“I found MITA’s future leader program to be very extensive and educational. Meeting other like-minded individuals from other companies was a great networking opportunity as well.”
-TJ Peake, Action Traffic Maintenance

“Before going into the program, I was unaware of the impact MITA had on Michigan infrastructure. The unity of Michigan contractors & engineers with a common goal of fixing the state’s infrastructure not only captures the ears of legislators and executives in the state government – but has them seeking goals that align with the PAC. There is definitely power behind the unity in MITA.”
-Scott Kenney, AnLaan Corporation
