A third meeting with MDOT leadership to discuss their contracting plans for the future Southeast Michigan “Mega Projects” has been scheduled for Friday, April 26, 2013. This meeting will be held at MDOT’s Horatio S. Earle Learning Center (Horatio S. Earle Learning Center) and will start at 3:00 PM.
The Southeast Michigan “Mega Projects” are generally understood to include significant reconstruction and/or rehabilitation work in the I-94 and I-75 corridors.
MITA’s goal in facilitating the “Mega Projects” meetings is to provide MDOT industry’s insight and ideas on how these large, high profile projects might be structured for bidding and construction to provide Michigan companies’ maximum opportunities for the work.
MITA member contractors and consulting engineer companies are invited to attend this meeting.
