The next safety directors group meeting is scheduled at the MITA office on September 8 at 9 a.m. Samantha Birsen will be on hand to discuss MIOSHA grants available to our membership. We have a few things to cover and are working on getting one of the speakers scheduled in June. A Warning to Your Employees
In recent weeks there have been very sad stories in the news about road workers being killed in Chicago and New York in a tragic fashion. Drivers going through work zones and stopped at traffic regulator stations are offering the workers bottles of water, bottles that are laced with Fentanyl. Hopefully, these are very isolated situations; but, regardless, please remind your crews not to accept water or food from the general public.
