Strong momentum is continuing to build for Proposal 1 and the Safe Roads YES campaign. We MUST keep the faith and continue to work hard to educate the public, as well as all staff and employees, friends and family members on the importance of supporting Proposal 1 on May 5th. MITA is hearing nothing but positive feedback from the work being done behind the scenes, as well as from the campaign and the Governor’s office.
We are 18 days out, so please make sure that you are doing EVERYTHING you can to Get Out The Vote. Get creative and make sure your employees are educated on the issue, as well as given an opportunity to get to the polls.
Keep in mind that absent voter ballots are available, so please fill out an application to receive one if you know you will be unable to vote in person on May 5th.
MITA has a supply of truck magnets available at the front desk. Please feel free to swing by the office to pick one up for your vehicle if you’re in the area. Truck magnets are a great, free way to advocate for Proposal 1 on the road.
Please continue to show your support through social media by actively following MITA and Safe Roads YES on Facebook and Twitter.
Don’t forget to use the resources we have made available on the Proposal 1 Quick Links page on the MITA website, too. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to call the MITA office at 517-347-8336.
